The Haymoon Resort offers a unique lodging experience that can’t be duplicated at hotels or motels. This is NOT a plastic, neon, commercialized environment, but a private, beautiful setting, with an estate atmosphere on twenty two acres. At Haymoon, you’ll feel pampered and relaxed while experiencing our beautiful, stress free environment, and yet we are still only five minutes from downtown Whitefish and centrally located to all our area attractions. Attention to detail is foremost and reflected in each lovingly decorated lodging, furnished in elegant Montana style décor, including handmade custom furniture, antiques, and original art by local artists. Special herbal lavender “Haymoon” toiletries and our complimentary arrival package including teas and coffee are designed to make your stay both comfortable, as well as memorable. We want your trip to Whitefish, Montana to be a great lasting memory! In the summer, the grounds are in full bloom with gorgeous perennial and herb gardens, and acres of lush, manicured lawns, that your toes sink into. The grounds have been tended to for many years and the mature plantings yield a riot of color and gracefulness. Water features abound including flowing fountains, a koi pond and Haymoon “lake.” Haymoon Resort lodging amenities have been designed to cater to the whole family's lodging enjoyment. In the summer, after a full day of taking in the splendor of Glacier National Park, everyone will appreciate the activities that are right on site at Haymoon Ranch Resort. The children love feeding carrots to our spoiled horses, or taking the paddleboat, canoe or kayak out for a ride. Croquet, volleyball or horseshoes are also available during the summer months. Adults & kids love our brand new “Steamy/Sauna” and our ten person Hot Tub at sunset. The Exercise Room provides a work out or just relax in the hammock. Roast marshmallows or make “s’mores” at the campfire, or build a great bonfire and have a family songfest. Play ping pong or the board games in the Recreation Room to keep the kids entertained. A large brochure rack in the office helps to plan tomorrow's outing. Summer activities of interest include visiting Glacier Park, white water rafting, golfing, horseback riding and visiting Big Mountain for “The Walk in the Trees“ or hiking or biking. Golf at one of our seven Flathead Valley golf courses, Big Mountain Golf Course is just three minutes away. Winter offers skiing, snowmobiling, dog sled adventures and everything in between. If you can think it, you can probably do it in our recreational wonderland. Available lodging options include: The Flowermoon Lodge The King Suite has a large sitting area with a queen futon and a soaking tub in addition to the tiled shower. There is also a small area suitable for a single rollaway. The fully modern kitchen (including dish washer), comes with tons of counter space, large seating area, a full stock of pots and pans and the dishes needed for cooking for your large group as well as full sized appliances. Wine glasses, coffee grinder, "lodge style dishes" and large pantry are just a few of the extra amenities that make this a terrific kitchen for larger groups such as reunions, seminars or retreats There is also a washer and dryer, phone, a/c, and wood-burning stove. For extra heat and ambience there is a fireplace in the large library for cool weather get togethers. Sleeping Arragements for the Themed Bedrooms
Merrymoon Quarters Extra sleeping space is available with the deluxe queen futon, which accommodates as many as eight people. Additionally, this guest quarter contains a private bathroom, washer and dryer, and all the comforts of home, including TV, DVD player, phone, air conditioning, woodstove, covered deck with furniture and full size barbecue and a wonderful view over Haymoon Ranch! This lodge is part of the Flowermoon Complex which can sleep up to 32 guests for smaller family reunions, retreats or business conferences. Merrymoon is in the same building as Deermoon Guest Quarters, the Exercise Room, the Sauna/Steamer, the conference room and right next door to the Hot Tub. Deermoon Guest Quarters Deemoon, decorated in Montana lodge style décor is four hundred square feet with a separate queen bedroom. Fully equipped kitchen including full size appliances, complete tableware with lodge style dishes, air conditioning, TV, DVD, and phone all provide the comforts of home. Situated near the Hot Tub and Sauna, Exercise & Game Room many families with children have enjoyed the variety of entertainment close by to keep everyone happy. While in between days at Glacier National Park or riding the Big Mountain Gondola, sit on the covered deck, barbeque and watch the ducks in Haymoon Lake and just relax! Deermoon Guest Quarters is situated next to the Meeting Room, Hot Tub, Sauna/Steamer & Exercise Room, on the first floor of the building next to Flowermoon Lodge and is a part of the Flowermoon Lodge Complex, available for larger groups which sleeps up to 32. Harvest Moon Log Cabin There's a full size propane barbecue grill, outdoor Adirondack furniture, picnic tables and gazebos to add to your relaxation enjoyment and enjoy our "Big Sky" outdoors. A two person Jacuzzi tub, tv/dvd, phone, air conditioning, unique log furniture, lodge ambience décor throughout & original art all lend to the elegant but comfortable log cabin living. In the cooler months, stay toasty in front of our gas log fireplace. Hard to find and hard to beat! Washer/Dryer, full size appliances and complete kitchens with full size appliances, all the necessary cooking & serving dishes & complete tableware with a Montana lodge theme. For sleeping there is a Queen bedroom with excellent sleeping mattress and original log “character” bed by Unique Woodworking. The large loft with full size stairs includes another queen bed, pine dresser and end tables. There is also a queen deluxe futon in the living room. Sleeping mats in loft provide additional sleeping space for children. We also provide a "starter kit" of detergent, paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, salt & pepper, napkins, coffee and fixings, herb teas and "Haymoon's original herbal lavender toiletries." Crescent Moon Cabin For the kids there's a small "beach" to access the lake for getting on the paddleboat or canoe. Horseshoe pit, croquet, volleyball and ping pong are all available to keep the kids entertained. Each "cabin" is seven hundred and fifty square feet large with a covered deck along the entire front side of the house. North Star Lodge The lodge is a over 2600 square feet with five regular bedrooms and an open sleeping loft, sleeping up to eighteen. There are three and a half full bathrooms, two kitchens with complete tableware, serving & cooking dishes, full size stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, dishwasher on main level, washer/dryer, and two living areas. The main level has a cathedral ceiling in tongue & groove pine. There are log beds throughout and pine custom made furniture. The decor is upscale and non-commercial, with local art and many lodge touches throughout. The lower level sleeps up to eight, with two bedrooms, one with two queens & one with a queen. There is a full futon in the living area. Complete kitchen, one bath, living area with tv/dvd and all the expected comforts of home round out the amenities of the North Star Lower Level. The North star lower level is a completely self contained lodging with its own entrance. The main level and the loft area have three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. One bath has a Jacuzzi tub. The bedroom on the main level is a queen bed. One bedroom upstairs has a queen bed & the other bedroom has two queens. There is also a sleeping loft with a double bed. There is also room for two sleeping mats for children, if needed, and all sleeping linens provided. Washer/dryer, tv/dvd, gas log fireplace & beautiful kitchen round out the amenities in the North Star main level. The main level and upper floor of the North Star is a completely self contained lodging with it's own entrance and parking. |
