Bad Rock Bed & Breakfast - in Columbia Falls, Montana
The
Bad Rock bed & Breakfast offers luxurious accommodations on 10 private
acres of rolling fields evergreen groves in Montana's Flathead Valley and
is centrally located between some of the region most popular attractions
including Glacier National Park, the cities of Big Fork, Kalispell and
Whitefish and several regional golf courses.
For lodging the Bad
Rock offers seven uniquely different guestrooms between the "Main House" and the nearby "Bad
Rock Junction". Guests staying the in main house will have their
choice of three distinctly different rooms tailored by Montana's Big
Sky flavor.
- The Big Mountain (on the upper level)
Overlooking
the garden and Bad Rock Junction, this room features a private west-facing
balcony with spectacular sunset views over Big Mountain. This room features
a European decor with a queen bed and a private bathroom with a tub/shower
combination.
- The Columbia Mountain Suite (on
the upper level)
The Columbia Mountain Suite features a private balcony with an outside
entrance and a view of the Swan Mountains. This room features an Asian
decor with a queen bed and a private bath with a tub/shower combination
and a sitting area with two daybeds.
- The Blacktail Mountain (on
the lower level)
This
room overlooks the garden and Bad Rock Junction. It includes a queen
bed and a Western motif along with a private bathroom.
Guests
staying in the "Bad Rock Junction" get
to enjoy lodging styled after Scandinavian log homes in the 1850's. These
houses are crafted out of square cut, hand-hewn logs dove-tailed together
with a light finish to preserve the natural warmth of peeled pine logs. Each room includes handcrafted, lodge-pole pine
furniture, a large bathroom suite with a spacious shower and a cozy gas
log fireplace. Other amenities include a refrigerator, microwave, coffee
maker, air conditioning.
For the view, each room has a front entrance
facing east towards the Swan Mountains and a rear entrance facing west
towards the Whitefish Mountains.
